WHERE WAS THIS? WHAT BATTLE WAS THIS? WHO WON!
Last week, I gave you a detail of the action of one member of the rebels (patriots) during a Battle that occurred. Here is another detail.
The battle lasted about a half an hour. Only one Patriot was wounded, Lieutenant Thomas Nash, of Norfolk County.
During the battle, the Patriots crawled from their breastwork to retrieve wounded British to help care for them. When the battle was over, Captain ______ came out of the fort to bow his thanks for the humanity of the Patriots.
