The Sons of the American Revolution recently donated a large framed portrait of George Washington to hang in Alexander Middle School’s foyer. During a dedication ceremony Nov. 19, former president of the Texas Society of SAR Tom Green presented the portrait to Principal Dr. Jimmy Nowell and the Alexander student council.

On Saturday, October 26, The Alexander Hodge Chapter of the Texas Society of the Sons of the American Revolution rededicated the grave of Alexander Hodge at the Hodge Cemetery on Old Richmond Road, Sugar Land.
