Our Speaker, Randall Hankla is a Native Texan, a member of the SRT, SCV, SAR, Napoleonic Brigade, HGCA, Texas Navy, and Texas Historical Reeactors Association, and a member here in the Alexander Hodge Chapter. He has primarily been a student of history, in particular Texas History throughout most of his life.
He has studied at HCC, Rice, U of H, and SRJC and has multiple Degrees: with a B.S. in English, Chemistry, and Economics; a M. Ed in Education and English; and an M.A. in English.
He has taught in public schools, college, adult education, and churches for 37 years.
Worked off shore on oil rigs for a year.
He will speak on "The Battle of Kings Mountain".
