I hadn't heard anything about the results of the Newsletter Contest until checking the Texas Website and noticed there was a Link on the Heading of Contest/Programs with several Subheadings of Winners & Awards-State-2025.
The Ross Shipman Award was Contest for the best Electronic Newsletter published last year. Alexander Hodge Chapter is in Electronic Group2 for Chapter memberships of 51-99.
I had submitted our December Newsletter. I was afraid that it would be considered too long. It was created for our enjoyment by looking back on all of 2024 and by looking forward to events for 2025.
However, since the Contest awards points for covering a range of subjects, I felt that we certainly would not leave any points on the Table!
Apparently, it worked!!!
