Houston VA Medical Center Visit - November 5, 2016

on November 14, 2016

On November 5, 2016 SAR members of the Alexander Hodge Chapter visited veterans at the Houston VAMC and distributed socks, magazines and personal grooming items for the veterans. From left are Lovell Aldrich, Carrie Isaacks Bornaschella, Carl Hill, Ron Brown, Jim Kinney, Fred Bultman, Liz Neely (Director of Recreational Therapy). Michelle Bultman, and Tom Green.
The Alexander Hodge Chapter of the SAR visited the VA Hospital in the Houston medical center on Saturday November 5, 2016 in observance of Veterans Day on November 11th. There was a good turn out with seven members and two guests (Michelle Bultman and Carrie Isaacks Bornaschella). The group was escorted through the spinal cord injury unit by Liz Neely, the director of recreational therapy.

A donation from the Chapter and participation of our members makes this event possible. This event is truly a wonderful, meaningful and rewarding out reach for the Alexander Hodge Chapter of the SAR. Why not join us for our two planned VA Medical Center visits in 2017, which will be in May and November. Watch for exact dates to be announced in the newsletter.
